Wuhan University (WHU) is a world-renowned institution providing higher education for over a century. It is also one of the "211 Project" and "985 Project" receiving full support development from the central and local government of China. Today WHU has 1,139 Professors, 1,258 Associate professors and 3,639 full time faculty members and 4,362 staff members. The Office of Human Resources is one of the most important departments of the University, planning and managing the University’s personnel and future staff recruitment. It also offers comprehensive HR services to all faculty and staff.
Our attributions include creating the human resource policies and procedures, including recruitment and employment, appointments, promotions and contract administration. The section provides a wide array of information about benefits, competitive pay, progressive work/life programs, and other opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Wuhan University’s Recruitment Program for Foreign Academics: the Chang Jiang Scholarships and the Thousand Youths Program are some of the plans designed to encourage professional international exchange and academic cooperation through international recruitment.
